Spicy meat and cheese stromboli from Italy

This is a perfect recipe for a great Italian snack. This is quite easy to make and the whole preparation and cooking time is only 25 minute.

Ingredients

The ingredients are one tube of pizza dough, 2 TBSP of flour or even corn meal will do, 24 slices of ¼ pepperonis, 6 deli sliced provolone, 6 slices of Italian hot ham, 8 slices of Genoa salami, 2 TBSP of virgin olive oil, sesame seeds, Italian seasonal blend and grated Parmigiano or Romano, 1 TSP of red pepper flakes which is crushed and garlic powders.

Preparation

First pre heat the oven to 400 degrees F. Remove the tube of dough from the container. Dust your hand with a little flour and coat the dough a bit lightly. While you dust the dough, stretch it out and gently spread it. Cut the spread dough into an equally 4 pieces and cut it into half again. On each cut pieces, cover it with the 6 slices of pepperoni, 1 and ½ slices of cheese, hot hams and two slices of Genoa salami. Roll each pieces and make sure that the middle is thicker and the end thinner. Brush the rolls with the virgin olive oil and than mixed the cheese, sesame seeds and seasoning in a cup to sprinkle it on the rolls. Pat the mixtures on the rolls and bake it for around 12 to 14 minutes until it turns golden and when it is over serve the snack hot.

Thai Fish Cakes with Spicy Sauce

This special recipe from Thailand is made up of soft meat fish with beans and starch which is fried in a deep frying pan.

Ingredients

For the dish take a fish meat of about 150 gms, 2 to 3 TBSP of Thai red curry paste, long green beans of 100 gms, 1 TBSP of potato starch or cassava and oil for frying.

The ingredients of the sauce for dipping is 20 gms of cucumber, 10b gms of peanuts, 2 pieces of red chillis and 3 TBSP of sweet chicken sauce.

Preparation

For preparing the dish, pre heat a deep fryer to about 150 Celsius. Add in a blender, the fish meat, potato starch and the red chili paste and blend it. The green beans should be cut into pieces and put in the blender to mix it with the rest. Take a scoop from the mixture and shape it. Deep fry those shaped mixtures until they float up in the surface of the oil. Take the cook fish cake and put it in a tissue paper to dry out the oil.

Preparing the sauce is easy. Just chop some chilies and cucumbers and mixed it with the sweet chicken sauce. Put the peanuts, which is crushed into small pieces on the top of the mixtures. Now it is ready to serve. Dip the fish cake with the sauce and eat.
